A table with food scraps. Coffee, empty glasses and some odd cork coexist with dinners' cheerful conversations. They speak, explain their things and thoughts, they give an opinion and there is even someone who raise the voice. Is at that time where the cork gains prominence. And not because it is a cork, but to preserve with a delicate care a delicious treasure: wine. A wine accompanied by some delicious food will make the evening becomes unique. This is the reason for Tap De Suro to exists, looking for the best products of the area and the most supplied tables in order to provide discussions and talks around a table. From La Cerdanya to Barcelona, Tap de Suro comes in order to provide you a place like home, with wine as as the main character,in order to provide you a place to enjoy good gastronomy with the best company. Seeking for what we wanted to us, Tap de Suro was born, trying to extend the ritual of good food and good drink. * August and holidays open daily for lunch and dinner.

Great introduction to Catalonian Culture.

Paid two visits to Tap de Suro during a week long visit to Puigcerda. The hostess provided excellent service, despite the obvious language barrier. She recommended the local Trinxat, which was very tasty and turned out to be a Cerdanya version of 'Bubble and Squeak'. The Roca wine went down well... read more

Great tavern feeling, delicious traditional dishes and attentive and friendly service. This is a fun place to share with friends.

It is a nice place to get some tapas in an ambience of friends, but I did not find it a place for a good meal with the family. The hot-cooked plates were surprinsingly not available. Then you could only choose between cheeses or jams or salad. It is OK if the idea is to get a tapa with a... More

Every time we are in Puigcerda we enjoy a drink and some tapas at this charming little bar. We were early this time as we had dinner booked elsewhere and just wanted an aperitif. A sudden thundershower had the place filled in minutes. Many people were coming for dinner and judging by the small plates of anchovies and hams we... More

Lovely place with walls packed of wine botttles. Tapas look gorgeous, although we only tasted two. Service was gentle but a bit slow as the place was full anf only one guy attending. Definitely a very nice place for wine testing in a quiet environment. An illustration: fuet for 2€. Labels: $$, 2Drink, 2Eat, #Romantic, #MustGo

Guided by Tripadvisor, we took refuge in Tap de Suro from a beastly cold and wet evening. It was the Copa del Rey so the TV was on full blast but apart from that, it was a great place for tapas and wine. The hostess was super friendly and extremely welcoming , while service was quick and efficient. Her red... More

We checked all the other tapas restaurants around the main square and this was the only one which looked cosy and welcoming. We loved it, the owner, Uri, is very enthusiastic about his selections of wines and his co-hostess, Paci, could not be sweeter. Nice food, great wines, nice place, nice people. I'll go back next time I'm in town.... More

Tucked away in a quiet corner of the city centre is this buzzing tapas bar. It was the second time we'd been here in two years (my second visit to Puigcerda) and it was just as good as we'd remembered. Our lively and very friendly waitress was kind enough to explain every dish on the menu and our table of... More

Looks nothing from the outside but is a warm, friendly spot for some excellent wines and great tapas. The menu is only in Catalan but the owner was very helpful and even though it was busy still took the time to explain the menu to us. We had 4 sharing dishes that were all excellent and the bill with 3... More

This place was solid with people, only open from 7pm until midnight. You'll have to book early to avoid disappointment, or a long wait. The food is really good, excellently cooked using fresh ingredients. There's quite an atmosphere as it caters for groups on the long tables and benches. We enjoyed the trinxat (bubble and squeak), the cheese bola, the... More
