Good and reasonably priced Food, Good and prompt Service, drinks overpriced (As at most restaurants) Been here a number of times, and always had a very enjoyable meal. Reserve your table if going in the evening, as it's always busy. Nothing to criticise tbh, I'll be returning in the future no doubt.

We were heading to the Ampthill open gardens event but as the rain was persistent we chose to have lunch first hoping the rain would stop. It was early Sunday lunchtime and we were welcomed in from the rain and seated immediately. Between four of us, we had a few sharing platters along with additional dishes of calzone and garlic... Spent a lovely Friday evening here drinking yummy cocktails and eating scrummy food. The Arancini off the specials menu was to die for. We will be back, see you soon.

We all had a lovely 3 course meal, the service was great with attentive wait staff and food arriving together all hot. The food quality was extremely good and everyone enjoyed what they ordered. I would recommend Fratelli's to everyone.

Having heard good things about Fratelli's and a family member had reasonable food before this was booked for a special birthday family meal. Big disappointment doesn't begin to cover it. We weren't over impressed to begin with with the heavy handed messages beforehand about no birthday cakes being allowed to be consumed on the premises although they did condescend to... More

Visited fratellis on a Friday evening as a group of 4. It was busy which is a good sign. Great atmosphere and an open kitchen with pizza oven which adds to atmosphere. Service and food were great. But I think £20 for a bottle of pino and £3.50 for bottle of pelligrino water is a bit expensive.

This is my second visit to Fratelli's. We attended on Saturday night as a group of 8. Service was good although there was a slight misunderstanding by the Waiter who brought one of the party mushrooms rather than mussels to start. We had 3 courses and all were delicious. The house White was also a good entry level wine. The... More

Another meal at Fratelli, Ampthill, last week- always an occasion to look forward to. Superb italian food, often even better than the genuine article in Italy. Now addicted to their seafood risotto and house calzone- both beautifully cooked and very satisfying. Lovely atmosphere in the restaurant-wonderful photos on the wall of old Italy include one by my old mate Dennis... More
