Nice place to enjou the old town

The restaurant served us well, the views are not the best, but in a touristic area, this restaurant is a good choise. The fish (shark) was good, and the toppings (kind of sea grass that you saw at the shores) were excotic to me.

Chose this restaurant based on TA reviews. It is clearly why it has been so recommending and good rated. Waiters are very polite, know what to recommend. Food was very delicious and tasty. It is located right in the heart of old town in Korcula. However, while I was there, the weather wasn't good at all so we were inside... More

Well spread out inside and out the restaurant is appealing. Good choices on the menu. Mussels were very good albeit small inside big shells and still with beards! Bruschetta was excellent as was the catch of the day. Saltimbocca was very good too, one of the best I have had for a while. Very good service from friendly welcoming staff... More

Whilst walking round the old town, the thunder rumbled and the heavens were about to open. Luckily it was almost lunch time so we called into this restaurant and were seated upstairs by a window with a lovely view of the surrounding streets. We were a little early to eat but the friendly waitress was happy for us to take... More

The Mareta was a good restaurant but didn't quite live up to the reviews and recommendations that we had been given. We had just as good food in other restaurants in Korcula. We had the shrimp and squid... very nice and tasty but didn't wow us. I would return but don't expect the meal of the century!

This is a great place to eat! It is tucked away in the alley ways of Korcula, so you don’t get the views but everything from the bread, to the food and the service make up for that! Everything literally was excellent!

Neno our waiter helped guide us towards one of our best dinners in Croatia thus far. I had the lamb chops, my wife the steak and everything coming out of the kitchen looked divine.

Rush hour seating in Korcula can try the toughest waiters and this place was great. In the heat of people coming to get seated, ordering, etc both servers were pleasant, even charming. We opted for a tapas style dinner with plates of oysters, octopus salad, chicken skewers, ham, etc and the meal turned out excellent. Everything well prepared and efficient,... More

While wondering the beautiful streets of Korcula Town we stumbled across this Konoba. The outside dining areas were full so we ate upstairs by the window. We both shared a meat platter for starters which was so well priced with a great portion size. Service was amazing especially when they realised we had run out of bread and promptly came... More

This restaurant is really a gem. Situated in a calm side street, the staff were very friendly and helpful. They brought us a selection of the day's fresh fish (sea bass, bream, scorpion fish) so we could choose our own, which was cooked excellently and very reasonably priced! Starters were good too - grilled local sheep's cheese with tomatoes and... More
