Perfect spot for lunch after a visit to rainforest.

We had lunch here while on vacation. After a tiring day at rainforest this made for a great lunch stop. We intially planned on going to Barbakoa but they were closed. No regrets though, both our food and drinks were great and service really good.

This appears to be a very quaint little bar and grill on the way out of the forest to the Main Highway. The menu seemed good and truthfully, the food was acceptable, once it was actually served. We were seated, then waited forever for the waitress while she was inside with several guys...then she arrived to take our drink orders... More

The Rum House was an awesome find. We spent the day hiking in El Yunique Rain Forest. Coming down the hill we decided to stop and eat outside. The food was amazing, atmosphere was incredible. The staff and bartenders were fun and made us laugh and smile. We give them a perfect score! Patrick and Angela

I loved the atmosphere. The food is good. I had the chicken with creole sauce. My husband had the can can pork chop. He loved it. It was probably the best meal we had in Puerto Rico. The service is good.

On the way out of the El Yunque Rain Forest we stopped at the The Rum House for cocktails and a bit to eat. We ate outside and the food was great and the wait service was also very good. Sat and talked with some travelers from Wisconsin...easy to find right along side the road on your way down to... More

The ambiance was nice and relaxing (they have hammocks around the place) the food was really good, they have a variety of rums (by the name I guess you can figure that) and drinks, which is good. Overall we made a good choice of going there.

I stopped with my family after hiking to the peak of El Yunque. We found a table for ourselves, waited 12 minutes and stood up to leave bc no one said a word to us. The waitress then came to us and said she would serve us, so we sat again--big mistake. The food came out from the kitchen for... More

Stopped here after ziplining at the nearby Rainforest Zipline (also highly recommended). All I can say is the four of us had a blast! The bartender was fun and friendly, letting us pose behind the bar for photos, and they had a great selection of high end rums and other drinks. The music was great and the atmosphere was pure... After hiking El Yunque rain forest for 4 hours (not including , this was a wonderful oasis. We were tired, we were hungry. There were no bells, and no whistles, but the food was great and the service was prompt. we began with rum punch, a staple for Caribbean tourist spots. This one however, had coconut milk which gave it... More

Food is great and we enjoyed sitting at the bar meeting people from all around. Nothing fancy just a good hole in the wall! Good times. :)
