We had planned to eat there on Sunday but they are closed on that night. We decided to give them a try on our last night at the Gran Melia and we are glad we did. The restaurant is meant to be the high end, haute cuisine outlet in the resort. It mostly hits the mark and the miscues are... More

Nice staff, fair value , good food.....desserts are what you want to try! They were excellent. The Caesar was a tad light for the price, lobster was very good and the risotto served as a side with the lobster is to die for....

All of the food was always great and the service was awesome!!! I don't remember his name, but the matre'd was always attentive and knew our party very well ~ he was also a part of the Japanese restaurant right next door and I don't know if it was him or not, but we had a birthday cake for my... all the food on site in the Gran Melia restaurants appears to have come off the back of a Sysco sytems food big wheeler truck (or whatever PRs equivalent to Sysco is for low quality heavily processed food products). Sadly, Gran Melia charges the prices of Michelin and AAA rated restaurants for what is better served with a plastic fork.

Despite being at the Gran Melia, Tempo provides good food and service in an elegant atmosphere. Everything we had was delicious, and the service was impeccable. Would highly recommend it.

Overpriced and overcooked steak. $8 for one scoop of bland mash potatoes. $40 steak was overcooked, no flavor and gristle. Had to send the first one back. Medium rare was cooked through. Outback is better. My wife has Celiac's Disease and needs to eat gluten free. Despite what it says on the menu and what we were told, they didn't... More

We had reservations at Tempo for 9pm. We arrived 15 minutes prior to our reservation and still had to wait for a table to be "set up" for us (only a table for two). I chose the fettuccini alfredo with chicken which turned out to be mediocre. My fiancee chose the porterhouse steak with mashed potatoes which was AMAZING. The... More

Great northern Italian mix of food options. I would recommend that they consider a different bread option other than popovers which seemed odd at an Italian restaurant.
