Authentic Puerto Rican & Cuban Food. Many people write about it in their reviews of the Rio Mar in Rio Grande, PR. I would love to write a review about this place as it was the best Mofungo (fried mashed plantains) we had in PR (and we tried it in 4 restaurants).

We had to go back!

We had breakfast here before heading to el yunque. My mother had the avena she was in heaven. The cafe con leche was very good. The scrambled eggs with onions peppers and tomatoe was really good and a big portion. The fried eggs were good the bacon was a little overcooked for my liking. But the... read more

If you are looking for a good restaurant that will satisfy a big appetite, look no further. Don Pepe's has plates for any taste and the portions are enough for a family. I recommend the Pork Ribs and Mofongo they both go great with a Medalla Light. Enjoy!

This place was recommend by our guide after we had spend a day at the rainforest. It was amazing! Fresh octopus, conch, grouper and great seafood paella! Glad we stayed for dinner!

Our family visited Puerto Rico the last two years and both times we've made sure to eat at Don Pepe's. It's a local place that was welcoming to visitors. The food was authentic and great. The kids loved their smoothies, and the service was outstanding.

The service was great. It took a while for our food to come, but when it came it was very tastey. Refills were not free because the drinks were from bottles.

Food was very good and there was a good wine selection. The service was very good. It is a bit pricey and the ambiance is "diner-like"

We were staying at the Wyndham Ocean Villas and decided to come here for dinner. What was kind of funny is it seemed like they put the locals downstairs and all the gringos upstairs. No matter. Service was really very attentive. The waitress was very knowledgeable about the menu and quick with recommendations. After a day out and about we... More
