Authentic Puerto Rican & Cuban Food. Many people write about it in their reviews of the Rio Mar in Rio Grande, PR. I would love to write a review about this place as it was the best Mofungo (fried mashed plantains) we had in PR (and we tried it in 4 restaurants).

Very Good

I had the Salmon with Guava sauce, which was quite good. Drinks aren't expensive. Decoration is nice, very pintoresc and local themes oriented.

Overall great service and good food. The pina colada is awesome and cant be beat. The appetizers and Pepe homemade stew were very tasty.

It was an ok experience, but I think that you can get better food and better service for a much lesser price at Rio Grande.

Only (2) other customers were dinning upon arrival. Once seated, it took 15 minutes before a waitress took our drink order. The food arrived 45 minutes later even though I saw about 5 employees behind the bar not doing anything. All the entrees were full of onions and cold. How do you screw up shrimp alfredo??? It even took 15... More

This was our first meal in Puerto Rico and we loved it. We had some difficulty finding the place because it isn't located exactly where the address says it is located. After driving around for a bit more than 20 minutes, we finally found it just as we were about to give up --- it's right next to the Sushi... More

I'm 96% sure this is the place I ate this meal, but it was my #1 meal of the trip. Service was extremely slow but it was cheap ($12?) and flippin delicious. I would fly back to PR just to eat this again; don't go here and NOT order this!

Comfortable setting with happy people all around, enjoying great food. Mofongo hit the spot! Fresh seafood was a treat.
