Cold La Cava - wine cellar

a little pricey - but not overly so. We went to La Cava and it was way over pricey and not as good quality as Tempo. The La Cava came highly recommended, but was not impressive as food, nor service goes. As a wine cellar it is probably fine.

Definitely worth a stop - we visited twice. The drinks and food were both yummy. The fried cheese and mofungo were favorites.

Ate here Sunday, 04/19/2015 at about 640pm and had just arrived from the airport. To start, the food lacked presentation. Everything looked like it was plopped on a white plate. I was so disappointed w/the grouper ceviche that it totally ruined the idea of me trying grouper ceviche anywhere else in Puerto Rico. The ceviche was served in a small... More

The food was OK. It took 45 minutes to get the food after it was ordered. We both had fish with a sauce on that was too rich. The wait staff was very pleasant, just slow. There was no view and there was nothing special about the ambiance. This restaurant is the top rated of those on the Gran Melia... More

Save your money. This place is very expensive and the food was horrific even the children's menu was terrible and the place is run down and just awful. I can't even give it one star.

Love the food at this restaurant. Use to think that it was kind of expensive, but after trying other Puerto Rican food restaurants out of the Melia Resort, I can be sure it's totally worth it. Being latina/hispanic, I know what good rice & beans should taste like; the ones made her are delicious. The skirt steak (only $24 for... More

Our waitress was wonderful & very helpful with her description of the menu offerings. The food was amazing, as was the flan dessert.

Food was overpriced and service is very slow. Don't waste your time. Its cheaper to rent a car and eat away from the resort.

We had never had Puerto Rican food, and weren't sure what to expect since it was on the grounds, but it was excellent.
