Authentic Caymanian food, cooked to order. It's really something out of the ordinary, and it should be on your Cayman bucket list! Finding it may be a challenge if you don't know where you're going (take a left at the 4-way stop, then left again. It's a small place. Outdoor dining can be warm here, but the view was phenomenal.... More

just past Foster Grocery to left behind the gas station, beautiful view with lunch under an almond tree. Sweet man picked the almonds & peeled the fruit for us that tasted like a cross between a pear/green apple! We had Coconut Grouper with the Scotch Bonnet salsa on the table. kids had pan fried grouper. great place to go in swimsuit/shorts!... Truly a local place. Nice folks. Good conch fritters. Menu is pretty well limited to whatever fish is fresh prepared a couple of different ways. I though the food over all was good, but not quite the knockout I expected. Seating is all outside.

Just what we were looking for, an authentic Cayman style dinner. The coconut grouper was delicious. The staff were incredible and made my children feel very welcome, by doting on them. Bring cash, it is a cash only place.Cheapest and one of the best meals we had on the island.

There are only a few picnic tables and no fancy place settings, but if you're looking for deliciously fresh, local food, Heritage Kitchen is the place to go. We really enjoyed our meals and the nuts that were cracked open and presented to us while we ate!

The food here was very good- mostly seafood served "Cayman Style". Cant beat the views. Seating is outside, covered, picnic tables overlooking the ocean. Nothing fancy. Just good food and laid back atmosphere.

We stayed in a condo within walking distance and loved the idea of a simple but authentic meal made with fresh, local ingredients. The Heritage Kitchen shack faces the water (on Boggy Sand Rd) so it is not immediately evident from West Bay Rd. except for a small sign nailed to a phone pole. Luckily we were walking. We had... Great local food. We were told about the place by a local and the food was good. Had snapper, mahi mahi and conch fritters. 9 people ate and the average price was $16CI. not bad for food on the island. Need to drive out there and EAT!

We needed a lunch that wouldn't be too heavy. We shared a mahi (Cayman style) and a conch chowder. Perfect! Highly recommended for some authentic Cayman cooking (at least from what we've had so far).
