Went by to check but the other reviews of it being closed are correct. No longer in business. Had heard it was very good buy friends that have been going for over 20 years.
For the price, the food was good - not superb - but good. They have a vast selection from grilled cheese shake type fair to curried dishes. Their latte was surprisingly good. There are of course better options on Cayman quality wise, but you'll pay.
The food, service, price and ambience for a small diner was excellent. I enjoyed the late night breakfast of pancakes! The manager told us he was moving off island and did not know if the owners had a replacement for him. Well, apparently not! They closed in the middle of September 2013 and we are very disappointed. Hopefully, they will... More
Unfortunately Tim-Buc-Tue Diner has closed its doors. It's been shut for over a month and there don't appear to be any renovations taking place, so it looks like that's it for them… :(
Stumbled upon this place looking for a quick lunch, and wow, it ended up being the best meal I had on the island, and by far the best fish curry I've ever had! I don't understand the negative reviews on here, but for me, I had the curry grouper and it was delectable, paired with an amazingly refreshing smoothie. To... More
We rented a car so that we weren't stuck to the touristy 7 Mile Beach and are so glad we did! This place was not only much, much cheaper than anything you'll find on 7 mile but also really, really good. I had the curry chicken and it was really good. My husband had the lobster curry, which he loved... More
The shakes are good, but the food is still pretty lack luster. The portions are large, but still taste like they are microwaved from a bag. It also took 1 hr to get our food at lunch time. Long enough that the table next to us gave up and left. If you want a cheap dinner, GC has too many... More
Such great value and food was awesome. Service was exceptional. Can not say enough. By far favorite place on west bay. You definitely will not be disappointed
Don't like putting bad reviews of places, but had no choice. Maybe we came on a bad day (Sunday 2:20pm) a little bit before they were ready to close, but it seemed everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Had no more shakes or smoothies by the time we ordered. So we decided just to order the Tuna Ceviche... More
GC is not known for inexpensive dining. $50-60 breakfasts are typical at the hotels it seems. We received a tip about this place from a local and it really paid off. A great breakfast for 2 for less that $20. if you like pancakes, you are in luck, $5 for all you can eat. Food was hot and served well.... More
