This is a nice place to go for lunch. The staff are really very nice as is the food. Its well cooked and good value for money. The pub is pretty - I've never eaten outside though. I like coming here. Its a cross between a pub and a restaurant and somewhere where you can feel comfortable

Fairly typical Hall and Woodhouse pub with a fairly standard menu, the prices are a little high, the portions a little small and the quality of the food only average. Both of our meals were only lukewarm. Both the bar and beer garden are attractive and welcoming.

This pub seems to have changed from a cheap chain pub, into somewhere very lovely to eat. I've had a platter and a chicken pie in recent weeks and they have both been superb. Prices are on the high-ish side, but I think we'll worth it
