The weather was very hot and the sun shone all day every day. Our room was a bit dated but always clean and welcoming. This was an excellent service provided to us by Juliet from housekeeping. The beach was my favorite part of the vacation; the loungers and sun shades were always available. We saw beautiful tropical fish on the reef; watch your footing getting there though. There's lots of rocks for the first few feet before you reach the sandy sea bottom. There was a bar and hotdog stand on the beach but no washroom. Our room was very clean and very spacious and set in a fantastic location within a short walk from all amenities (overlooking the bear corner:-).....oh how i miss walking up from the beach at the end of each day to find a cold can of Buccanero!! The beach is absolutely beautiful, so clean and un-crowded with pure white sand and clear waters making for fantastic snorkling.   "I cannot even begin to explain how absolutely beautiful this place is - if your reading this and are unsure whether to book or not then please, do not hesitate to do it! This was my 4th visit and I will be booking to go back hopefully before the end of the year because I cannot bear to be away! ..." The transfer is about an hour away from the airport, and on your journey you will get an idea of just how beautiful but deprived the country is. Most people live in extremely basic shack style houses, and are paid roughly 20pescos a month, so like people have said before hand, any old clothes/shoes/left over toiletries that you can leave will be SO appreciated you have no idea. When you arrive at the hotel, you will be walked into the cigar lounge for champagne and canapés while they sort your rooms out, and then driven to your block via golf buggies!
