Not because food wasn't good but because my stomach is very sensitive and I have a hard time with a lot of food. The staff I enjoyed the most was frank and Daniel for entertainment! Daniel is so friendly and loves to dance! Frank is so full of energy. My favourite bartender was hands down Robinson ' worked at the disco and always made my nights fun while dancing with me !!   "Stayed here for 2 weeks with our twin boys aged 4. The drive from Santo Domingo takes about 2 and a half hours and would be best with a 4x4 specially with the state of the roads in the DR (pot holes and road bumps). Our host Sarah was absolutely fantastic and made our stay as easy as can be. She o..."rganized boat trips, quad bikes, breakfasts, shopping and even helped us with cash when the local bank couldn't deliver. We stayed in the bungalow accommodation located on the same site as the thatched cottages. The accommodation had 3 bedrooms, two bathrooms with showers and a fully equipped kitchen with a big fridge and bottled water on tap. free WiFi was also available. Washing clothes was no problem as the maid who came every other day took them away and brought them back the following day clean and folded. The security guard (and gardener) Jose was very nice and gentle man, always greeted us with a big smile and helped on a couple of occasions with opening a coconut or helping us unloc... " More >
