The menu which changes daily consists of several favourites as well as some interesting creations all cooked fresh, on the premises by Anne Anderson. The Anderson staff are all friendly and efficient without being over attentive. There is an incredible selection of beer, whisky and wine - I can see why many travel for miles and it was certainly worth staying the night. The rooms are all clean and beds particularly comfortable. Breakfast was also excellent. Jim Anderson is a great host and we wish him all the best. We'll certainly be back. " More >

  "This B&B has two lovely hosts, with magnificent views over the Moray Firth. We stayed for 5 nights, touring Scotland by car using this as a base. We were able to come and go as we pleased as we had our own key to the front door. Breakfast was fabulous. The rooms were clean and tidy with gorgeous vie..."ws. TV not so good as not many channels, but we hardly used it. Bathroom was very spacious, but needs more shelving. Toilet paper was "hard" so we bought our own, did not mention this as it seemed a little petty. Overall a really nice friendly stay. " More >

Our light and airy room opened onto a large balcony as did our spacious bathroom, you could also sit in the freestanding bath and gaze at the view!There was also a separate shower, underfloor heating, all the toilettries one could imag..."ine and then more! Nothing was too much trouble for the delightful hosts, Gill and Bill. We were directed to the best 2 restaurants in the village just a 10 minute stroll away. Bill served us an excellent breakfast with all the usual choices plus fresh fruits, yogurts etc. If you are looking for minimalism then maybe this would not be your choice, every nook and cranny contained something either decorative or useful. Having said that, for the warmth of welcome, the breakfasts and the views this place could not be bettered. " More >
