The pool is a good size and well heated and the views are spectacular. Luz itself is a really nice small town with lots of restaurants, bars and the beach in easy walking distance.   "It was so good, we've stayed there twice"
  "A fabulously appointed large villa with high quality fixtures and fittings. We were a group of 5 people needing four rooms but the villa could easily take 12+ people (and there was parking for 3 cars should you need it). It was only 1 hours’ drive from Faro and a short drive or perhaps 15 mins..." walk to the local village and beach, so having a rental car was handy but not essential. The pool was a very good size, clean and was very warm which suited our 18 month old toddler. It was reasonably family friendly - there was a high chair and buggy (though we had packed our own buggy) and we had everything we needed. Depending on the age of your children there was no fence from the patio area to the pool (and this seems to be normal with Portuguese villas).
