  "Stayed at this hotel for 2 nights back in August 2012. Was in town for Best friend's wedding. This was first visit to Nova Scotia, and the front desk agent was very friendly and accomodating. Its a really nicely situated hotel. The room itself was spacious, newly renovated and really enjoyed the bed, comfortable. AC was quiet which was good. Room service was fantastic, fast and the servers were very professional. They even went out of their way to ask the cook, who was willing to stay open a little longer to feed us after late night rehersals. The pillows were on small scale, but apparently this is a hotel standard in Nova Scotia I was told, thought was strange.   "An excellent choice. Everything worked well in the room and it was very clean. Nice high speed internet. Alicia at the front desk was very professional, friendly, and helpful. Price seemed a little high at $100 before taxes, but I'm learning that's just the way it is in Canada. Also, too much hockey..." on the T.V and not enough baseball and basketball. But again, it's Canada. My only suggestion for improvement is to use real glasses in the rooms instead of paper cups. If I pass this way again then I'll certainly be back. " More >
