Tom, the chilled-out owner is very friendly and helpful and speaks really good English. He likes to have a chat with the guests. They had a few problems with stealing befo..."re so he is very careful now constantly reminding us to lock our room when we leave and to keep the outside light on during the night. There are reinforced locks on the windows and the door. We didn't have any issue during our 4 nights stay. Breakfast is included but not great.   "This is a gerat place to stay in Riung. The bungalows are nice and clean, basic outdoor bathrooms, with mandi style cold shower, and a fan inside. It's so hot you don't really need hot water... breakfast is included, and coffee or tea is always offered. The price (150 000 Rp) is normal for Flores...", and the atmosphere and people there are great. Tam, the owner is very helpful to give information about the town, ongoing journeys, and can organize trips to the 17 Islands as well. The island trip is great with a fantastic lunch of grilled fish and other local dishes. I have read about the thefts, and luckily we did not experience it. Tam and the staff ask you to lock all of the windows and doors, and make sure of your belongings to help avoid such things from happening. We stayed for 3 great, relaxing nights, and highly recommend Nirvana. " More >
