  "Well cannot gush about the Talayot enough. We were welcomed by Dizzy Dom the Thompson rep who we came to love. Went 8th May for 10 days and a lovely temperature for me and my daughter and mum. Three iffy days so if you want hot hot I would go in June. So... apartments really clean and spacious. But..." the best thing was the TV channels. I know you don't go away to sit in front of the TV but when your child wants her own 'down time' then there is a dedicated channel of programs such as pepper pig and my little pony which proved a god send. Then the welcome meeting, really informative and no hard sell and we went to purchase two trips. The pirate adventure and crazy capers. Both good but don't expect much. The kids club was amazing, Grace came out buzzing after every session, face painted, wizard school, chocolate party. I have travelled abroad 18 times in my life and I have to say that most of the time I have been sad to leave but never as sad as when I got on the tranfer coach back to the airport when I left the Talayot. I love this place and so do my family. From the staff who work in th..."e hotel to the men and women who worked and run the bars and cafe's ect. I usually start by getting the bad bits out of the way but I can't really say anything bad to say. I can only mark the hotel down slightly for sleep quality but c'mon this is a resort for young kids and if you do not like a little noise coming from the entertainment area this is not the holiday or the resort for you and I would not book this holiday if you have teenagers or travelling as a couple. The Thomson reps work very hard and the 2 girls who run the animation around the pool work thier socks off and are a real credit to Thomson and the hotel.   "My husband and I stayed Half Board 11th-18th May 2013. The room we stayed in, 4092, on the fourth floor was a good size- Premier Inn style. Sheets and towels were changed daily, bins cleared and bed made. There is a fridge in the room that came in handy for water and aftersun! Breakfast: Cereal...", yoghurts, fruit, fruit juices, croissants, meats, cheese, rolls, toast, jams, bacon (streaky), boiled, fried and scrambled eggs, beans and more. Coffee machine (latte, cappuchino etc), tea, milk. Evening Meal: Meat, chicken and fish dishes. Pasta, rice, potatoes, vegetables, salad (very fresh), soups, rolls, bread and more. Only 'all-inclusive' get free drinks at dinner. There was water, read and white wine and juices. B&B and Half Board pay at the table for drinks. The view from the room was wonderful. Most rooms have a sea view. (our room was 4092). I did request a sea view on booking. There is the most beautiful walk around the hotel, along the rocky path. I would suggest that... " More >
