  "Just spent one night in The Bear at Esher. Cannot fault the service at all. All staff very professional and welcoming. Our room was the Polar Bear room. Very clean with a comfortable bed. Nice touch was complimentary bottles of water, tea and coffee making facilities with fresh milk in the mini bar ..."and a couple of pieces of fresh fruit also. There was an iron and ironing board in the room too should you need it. The ambience of the whole building was very relaxing and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. I had the eggs benedict without the sauce (watching my waistline!) my other half had the cooked breakfast. Both enjoyed very much. A lovely pot of tea too. Free wifi in all areas. There were a few areas that maybe could do with a little decorating touch up but that would really be a pedantic area to complain about. Will definitely recommend this hotel to others and will stay here when we return to Esher in the future. Thank you for a lovely stay. " More >

  "We stayed at Rosemead for one night only, just after the snows of January 2013. We were 11 people including two children and we had the entire place to ourselves (the two single rooms were unoccupied). Budget was a consideration as it was the start of a big family weekend, and we were happy to find ..."a place that could accommodate us all at a decent price and without having to run around for breakfast in the morning. Parking on the doorstep was an added bonus! This is a small business in a beautiful house located in a green part of outer London. Charles is a kind person, accommodating, professional and very discreet. He had all keys ready before our arrival, which he handed to the first of our group and showed them around. All public areas, rooms and beds were comfortable, neat and well-presented. We enjoyed being together in the lovely lounge, making conversation and watching TV (large flat-screen, nicer than in the photos) while the children played games on the internet (free wifi),...   "We loved the atmosphere of this lovely and historic pub. The staff were amazing and it was good value for money. The bed was really comfortable and room lovely and quiet even though the pub is just downstairs"
