The decor is elegant and minimalistic with a lot of common spaces in the open air where to hang out. I booked online on hotels.com and they assigned us a room on the ground flo..."or with no view that looked like a cave. The manager was very helpful, the day after our arrival, when a nicer room was vacated, she moved us on the first floor in a beautiful duplex with a great view of the valley and the sea without any extra cost. Great bathroom and decent room size. My partner suffered from the noise that was coming from other rooms' air conditioners' units but he is very sensitive to noise in general. What I really appreciated was having breakfast while admiring the seascape with Stromboli in the middle. Plus in the evening you could have a drinks in the same terrace and enjoy the view. Hotel Signum is the perfect place to really unwind and kick back, in a beautiful, serene setting among kind-hearted people. The only not so great thing was our spa experience. Although the spa is in a gorgeous setting, the staff was not very accommodating and a bit harsh. The new staff member seemed to want to help, but had just started. It has a geotheramal spa which we visited but did not use, and an almost butterfly-shaped infinity pool which was so welcome once the scirocco wind began blowing its hot wind upon us one afternoon.
