  "I stayed at The Residence in late May, beginning of June 2012, for one week. My first impression of the hotel and staff was that it's of a very high standard, with a nice relaxing atmosphere. Our apartment was on the ground floor, facing the sea, but I wouldn't call it a sea view (what we had boo..."ked), since the hotel building is too far away from the sea, (400 meters) with some trees blocking the view. But that wasn't important to us. It was quiet. No traffic. I've heard some people complain about traffic noise, but that would have to be on the other building. So if you're planning on staying here, you should book with a "sea view" if you want quiet. Our apartment felt fresh and comfortable. The bedroom was rather big, and had a queen size bed, with a very good mattress. Two quite large balconies. And a bathtub in the bathroom, which was so very nice, for relaxing.   "This is a pleasant hotel. We were on a half board package and phone up in advance to get lunch and at 2pm. Unfortunately, due to not realising travel times and getting lost, but we arrived at 4pm. The hotel had called the staff earlier than planned (they usually arrive at 4pm) and they still went ou..."t of their way to make us an amazing vegetarian lunch. More than we could possibly eat and extremely tasty. The service was first class from start to finish and the hotel was great with a nice view. The only slight issues we had were that some of the locals were having a party near the sea area and were pretty loud until the early hours which we could hear from our room and the pool was quite cold. Please note that the Sauna is an extra 50 KRN/person/day. Breakfast was pretty decent. Please note that there is no beach nearby this hotel - more of a pebble/concrete structure.
