All of the staff in the hotel were exceptionally helpful, particually the manager, and all spoke good English. The meals were typically Norwegian with lots of fish and hot meat dishes and a variety of vegetables, there was plenty to keep you going. The hotel itself is dated but we werent bothered by this, everything worked as it was supposed to and when your balcony looks onto the Ulvik Fjord, who cares if your bathroom is from the 70's?
