  "My wife and i have just returned from MCG, this is our 7th visit to Cuba, the first to MCG. First the negatives,rooms are dated but clean but hey you only sleep there. Too many mossies, the hotel does its best to control them, 4 times per day they spray the grounds but they still get you. The food i..."s good there is so much choice, they cook fresh fish and meats right in front of you so you know its good, plenty of salads and lots more.The buffet restaurant is air conditioned and a joy to eat in, the staff are great and a special thank you must go to Mayelena and Yaniel ( Breakfast and Lunch) who went way and above the normal service, thank you for the best day ever, we also mention Sergio ( always smiling) at the lobby bar for keeping our glasses always full. the hotel grounds are always spotless the gardeners ( always smiling ) are working all the time keeping it tidy.   "This is our second trip to SCG we were there 2.5 years ago. We bought our family back this year to celebrate my 50th. We had a pleasant flight with Thomas cook. Check in was easy and we were given lovely rooms all sea view. It was nice to see old familiar faces. The hotel was much the same, a few up..."grades to the restaurant and the snack bar. All in all we had a great holiday. My one and only complainant was the hygiene of the hotel was much lower than before which upset me and my family. We all had an upset tummy for the whole of the 2 weeks we were there too. Having said that I still love the place and i am sure this is a temporary blip to the hotel? Can I just say that the Animation team were the best EVER they made our holiday and my 6 year old grandson will never forget his holiday because of them.The beach is still the best in the world!!!
