  "Recently spent two nights at the Oriel House Hotel. We had booked a Deluxe room with dinner bed and breakfast. The room was excellent with a very comfortable bed, good sized bathroom and good tea and coffee facilities. Although the hotel was fairly busy on the 2nd night we were not disturbed. The ..."food in the restaurant was good with plenty to choose from. Breakfast was freshly prepared with a great selection of fruit and cereals. The staff were friendly and efficient particularly those in reception. The only reason that I have not rated this hotel as excellent is the very long wait for our dessert on the Saturday night. A function in another room ( hen night ) seemed to take all the waiting staff away from the diners in the dining room ! The Oriel apologised for this and did not charge for some drinks.
