No trace of organic oils.... The same applies to foods, special organic meals being available once a week. Although the exterior of the buildings are indeed impressive (one of them dating back to 800), the interiors are not worthy of a luxury calibre positioning the resort aims at.   "This is a lovely place to stay to get away from it all and set in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. Rooms are very clean and rustic with a good bathroom. The hotel grounds are lovely with a large swimming pool - staying here in the summer would be perfect. The only downside to this great place was the lack of sound insulation between rooms (everything could be heard) and no internet access in the rooms (although unlimited free access is available in the foyer). I'd have given this place 5 stars if it wasn't for the noise issue... You'll need a car to get around but this is meant to be a country retreat to use as a base to visit Chianti and Sienna.
