When we failed to figure out the proper way in the dark, the kind-hearted manager at the hotel arranged us a really grand dinner from his home. If you don't your own vehicle, it's best you hire a two-wheeler (during off-seasons, it's difficult to find one though). An auto ride to the om beach will cost you around 250 bucks.   "This place is about 10 kms from the beach but its was not an issue at all... the manager, Krishna Kamath made sure a cab was waiting for us whenever we wanted to go the beach or elsewhere. Raghu our server,waiter and room service always came into the room with a smile with our food even if it was fo..."r the 100th time that day. We were a group of 8 friends who stayed here...and mind you not one of us had a complaint. I'm pretty sure the other 7 will be writing a review right now and a pretty good one I'm sure. Clean beds , clean toilets , hot water whenever you need it and the amazing staff of Makara Village. If you don't mind staying away from the beach this is the place to stay.   "Our stay at Namaste Cafe had been a perfect holiday to mingle just with our inner soul. The place is right on the Om Beach and completely cut off from all the hustle bustle. No TV, no internet, no network. Just you. If you love the sea and more of an outdoor person then there is plenty for you. Take..." a trek to the adjacent beaches. And if you are a beach bum then tan yourself as much as you can without anybody bothering you. And when you are tired and hungry turn back to the cafe restaurant for all your food needs.
