  "Enjoyable, but could have been better"
  "I stayed here for three days with my wife, and we were incredibly lucky to get a first floor room in the manor with stunning views down the tree lined avenue to the pond and across to (I presume) the White Horse of Westbury in the distance. A definite 'wow factor' with the room and view though, disa..."ppointingly, the double bed was actually two singles put together and the sheets were the type you 'slide round' causing trouble sleeping. The room and, indeed, hotel were tastefully decked out in cream, moss green, chocolate brown and aubergine. The staff were very pleasant and helpful, and the breakfast and its location were superb, though we encountered two other problems, Firstly, having been told on Friday the impressive upper floor pool and spa beds closed at 10 pm, we were disappointed to go in at 7.30 on Saturday and be told by an attendant while in the spa beds they close at 8 pm at weekends.
