  "After reading the reviews on this hotel we decided to stay for 6 days in May 2013. We went half board and the hotel reception areas and food was exceptional for a two star hotel and as good as some four star hotels at which we have stayed in Spain. Sadly the room which we were allocated was tired an..."d in need of updating however was in a lovely position opposite the church and in sound of the bells with a balcony with table & two chairs. The hotel staff were very friendly and we feel sure that they would have changed our room if we had told them but the price paid (around that of a hostel) was exceptional value. Endless hot water, rooms cleaned and towels changed daily, plenty of food and choice, good location just a ten minute walk from Pineda de Mar beach and train station. Easy access from Barcelona Airport which takes around 90 minutes and costs 4.55 euros for adult single, and is a lovely train ride along the coastline once you are our of the city. We booked flights, hotel and transfers all separately and then upgraded to all inclusive on arrival. We hired a safe for the week and it cost us 30 euros, with 10 returned at the end of the week. We were very impressed with the all-inclusive, as we could have cocktails (complete with feathery parrots, peacocks, etc) branded drinks, including Southern Comfort, Bacardi and Smirnoff and ice cream sandwiches (like Maxibons) and lollies from 10am to 11pm and we could use the main bar, snack bar and both pool bars.   "Stayed at this hotel for four nights at the beginning of may and were really pleased to have chosen it.when we arrived we checked in really quickly and got our room keys straight away.the rooms were large,clean and the bathroom was large with a lovely shower with hot water any time of the day.we wer..."e half board and found the food was fresh,hot and tasty and there was plenty of choice and even out eight month old loved it.found the drinks a little expensive but if you stay five nights or more you can upgrade to all inclusive for about £19 a day each which would be well worth it as its Smirnoff vodka,johnie walker whiskey ect.if you fancy lovely tapas cheaply walk out of the hotel turn left and walk along the front until you reach the buccaneer pub,turn first left past the pub and follow the st until you come across the pepete 2 on your left hand side.the food was beautiful and really reasonable.our Spanish is not great and nor were there English but we all managed to order and had about...
