  "We just returned from our Wedding-Moon at the Hilton Papagayo! I would recommend this resort to anyone looking for an intimate getaway. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our bungalow with private pool was very clean with a spectacular view. It was private and away from the public. Eas..."y walk down to the main area, but I recommend shuttle service to get back unless you like hiking up hills. The overall resort was clean, food was good, especially having the chef cook the fish we caught! That was really cool. The spa is a great place to relax and the wedding coordinators ensure for a flawless, stress-free wedding day. I hope to return back to celebrate an anniversary.   "My Husband and I had so much fun at the Occidental Grand Papagayo! Everyone was always friendly and helpful. And even though we did not book a honeymoon package, they still offered us 10% off at the spa. Our favorite part was the food. The food was always great! Especially at Le Buffet. Just thinkin..."g about it, makes us want to hop on a place and head back. The Staff at Le Buffet was great too. They were always attentive and nice. The beach is gorgeous and I love how the trees are low and hang over the chairs to provide shade. It is a little of a walk, but Costa Rica is not a flat area and they have to do what they can to get pathways to different areas. There was wildlife around the area. We saw howler monkeys and lots of birds I've never seen before. Everything was great and we can not wait to go back. " More >

  "If you enjoy being surrounded by wildlife then this is the place to be. Our mornings began with loads of Howler Monkeys and White Faced Capuchin's crashing around in the trees outside our cabin,when we came back from breakfast we would be surrounded by Coati waiting for a banana. A large Iguana live..."d under our front patio, also a lover of bananas. In the evening Racoons that looked a bit different from the variety found in Canada wandered the grounds Lovely birds all around the property. Great swimming pool, our accomodation was first class, the food was good, All In all we had a great vacation and would stay there again. " More >
