We only booked a Bronze caravan, which on the paperwork said the check in was at 4pm but if you arrived earlier then they would do their best to get you in your caravan sooner. I went into the main reception but was told it was actually in the lighthouse building. There was quite a queue of people waiting who were also confused as to where to go. Anyway, the member of staff looked at my booking form and said my check in wasnt until 4. I mentioned what it stated on the form but she wasnt really willing to see if our caravan was ready, just said "No itll be 4pm" so we went and killed some time before then. We hadnt been to Towyn/Rhyl in a couple of years and were quite shocked that absolutely nothing apart from one pub and a tat shop was open. They worked so hard day and night and everyone of them was friendly and entertaining! Which was down to Martin the entertainment manager very well done to the team!! Even my 15 month old stayed up and partied in the disco! Food was good value and very tasty and drinks were very reasonable!
