  "Booked online 1 room for 1 day. Very nice room. The resort is very nice. We had supper at the Antler Room, the food was awesome. We showed up almost at closing time, but we wern't rushed. Just be ready to do some walking, the place is huge. Our stay was very short, we got in late and left early. But..." what we did see was very well taken care of. The bar staff was very friendly also. I also forgot my shotgun in the room when we checked out and I called back and they had security got to the room and kept it until I got back to claim it. The property is on beautiful grounds and noticably well kept from the moment you enter the parking lot. I was there for meetings with a group of about 200 and the meeting space was first class. ..." One evening we were taken to the Knibbe Ranch, which this property has partnered with, and had an awesome time. A true Texas experience. My room was on the 4th floor, where the balconies are huge! It's May and relatively cool, so my room facing west was not an issue. I wouldn't be on the west side in the summer. The east side has a better view of the hill country anyway. The staff from the valets, check-in, bartenders, housekeeping, and concierge were all top notch. Don't miss the velocity sports bar. It is a classic Texas hotel with a wonderful history (Robert Johnson recorded in room 414.) Today the hotel is in pristine shape. The front desk staff is great, Amy is a genuine pleasure, Christopher is a good manager. In my opinion what sets this hotel apart is the club lounge. Benjamin the Club lounge manager is in a word phenomenal. He takes care of guest like family, he prepares special snacks and he alone is the reason for my last two multiple night bookings as the Grand Hyatt was closer to my conferences, but the extra distance was worth it to have Benjamin's service.. Benjamin is extremely attentive remembers his guests and makes the club lounge feel more like a great lcocktail party than a stuffy lounge. " More >
