We enjoyed meeting people at the shared kitchen and were pleased with the friendly staff at the office. Never have we stayed at a camp ground with such wonderful views. Our only complaint was the size of the room made it difficult to open luggage but not all that bad. The bathroom was good and everything worked well. We stayed in varied lodging during our 6 weeks in NZ and glad we were able to experience a few nights at the "Top ten Holiday Park". The price was fair but not that much lower than some motels in the area. We would make the same choice. " More >

Well, I say room, it was a stand alone shed but it was cute and the heater inside kept it warm. When we arrived, the nice lady at the reception upgraded us to a nicer duplex room. It was such a perfect little place co,mplete with a nice kitchennette, super cute outdoor rainforest sitou and the bedroom on the first floor. There was nothing missing complete to the little bottle of milk in the fridge to all the pots and pans and cutlery needed. Punga is situated close to the Franz Josef village center and walking distance from the grocery store and really nice resturants (including an Indian resturant), and all the tour guide offices.
