The restaurant was clean and the food was good, even for us vegetarians. The morning breakfast was hearty and healthy - breads, bran muffins, oatmeal, coffee, fruits. We hung out around the pool for a while, explored the beautiful grounds, walked through the garden, meditated along the pond. All in all, a wonderful experience and I highly recommend it.   "Bigger & Better than most Motel 6's"
  "My wife and I stayed one night in early May 2013 and then returned and stayed again for one night 10 days later. Both nights only for sleeping as we were traveling thru the area. Non smoking rooms with two beds are on the back, first night placed on bottom floor, room was Motel 6 Average I would say...". Road and communication workers were having a evening BBQ and in the morning, the guy next door that must have been a self employed contractor, was smoking Pot before going out on the job, if he had one that day. No problem, our stuff was all OK, quiet late night and these concerns are not of the Motel itself. The other night, we were participating in an event with a group of people like us out from Ventura County, CA. Now a Friday night, a completely different story, all the area was clean and quiet. I know some Motel 6 locations are remodeling sections of rooms, now on the third floor, it was one of the best Motel 6 rooms we've stayed in for some years. Also they have two ice machines awa...   "So I have read differing reviews and I will just say it how I found it. It exceeded my expectations in all areas. The staff without exception were friendly and helpful. The retro check-in, pool and restaurant are a delight. Its a 'real' pool too - 9ft at deep end, not the paddling pools built today...." Stayed in cheapest ($95) style room, Room Z. Just faultless. Clean and worked well with old retro fittings (windows, heater, furniture) giving it huge character. Any more modernising would be wrong, for me the balance old/new is perfect. Located outside town virtually in park so incredibly quite at night. Just loved it will be back for longer next time " More >
