  "Spent the Easter break here so this review write up is a bit late but as this hotel is worth a mention, here it is. We had a wonderful stay at the Tirolerhof on half board. Check in very smooth - with a nice welcome cocktail. From day 1 you have your assigned table for breakfast and dinner to u..."se throughout your stay. The food was really good, nicely prepared with an excellent choice of wine. The staff were great and extremely helpful be it in the restaurant or at the bar. Ski room facilities as you would expect. There is a shuttle bus to the ski lift station but we walked the short distance and it was no trouble. Unfortunately the weather wasn't great so we made great use of the pool and spa facilities on hand which were absolutely wonderful. Steam baths, saunas and whirlpools - all you could need after a day on the slopes or just for pure relaxation.   "We stayed here in May2013 for 2 nights. The location is in Schuttdorf just next to the Kitzsteinhornstrasse local station (which is 2 stops from the Zell am See central station). The rooms were the biggest I have ever seen. Lovely hall with a dining table, sofa seating and nice separate bedroom. Cou..."ldn't have asked for anything better. The rooms also offer beautiful views. The hosts are just fantastic. Extremely helpful. They also have have their own spa facility in the basement which can easily rival a 5-star hotel spa. It offers 2 types of sauna, herbal steam, infra-red, cool shower and small place to exercise and a lovely courtyard garden at the back. Free wifi as well. We did not opt for the breakfast. We also got the zell am see-kaprun summer card inclusive of the room tariff which is quite good. They have their own bicycles which we also rented for a lovely drive around the lake.   "Great location, great staff and great hotel!"
  "Stayed here for business for just under 3 weeks and loved it. On arrival were made very welcome and even had our bags taken to our rooms. Rooms were lovely and and well looked after, the bathroom also looked new and modern. Breakfast was very good, nice selection of cold and hot foods, drinks etc..." etc you even get a small leaflet every morning informing you what is on in the area and included the weather forecast. The staff were also great and would remember which drinks you normally had, were friendly and very helpful about the local area such as prices and locations of things. Also came in handy when on the first weekend we were informed that all roads were pretty much shut in to Zell am See due to the flooding and landslides. In all loved it there and will hopefully stay again in the future or even go for a holiday. " More >
