  "It's the second time I've stayed here with my Balinese family. We stayed for 3 nights in adjacent bungalows. The rooms are basic but have everything you need, the bed was comfy & I slept really well. The bathroom was OK & the airconditioning worked fine. The staff are very friendly & we were fortunate to be there when the bull races were held in the nearby village of Kaliasem, it had been 7 years since they last held them & from now on they will be held annually. It was a wonderful experience held on the village oval. There were 18 pairs of bulls, all dressed in fancy headgear with bells tied round their legs. It was a day of fun for the locals, the bulls were treated with great respect, 6 races with lots of encouragement from the crowd. The ground floor rooms are a bit more expensive than the rooms at the top, perhaps as they have a TV that doesn't seem to work that well anyway. The pool is big and clean. The grounds are so huge they seem to go on forever, so you sort of feel that you have the place to yourselves. The staff are not that friendly, but as you don't see them much it doesn't seem to be a problem.
