My wooden bungalow on stilts had a beautiful view of the Gulf of Thailand, and although the other bungalows were quite close, there were so many large trees and foliage around me I hardly ..."noticed. My wooden upstairs balcony with hammock and couch was perfect for reading, snoozing, and having a glass of wine watching the sun go down. I very much appreciated the fact that the room had a small fridge and a kettle. The restaurant was wonderful, and the staff gladly obliged by bringing my breakfast to my room each morning. There was no cut off time for breakfast either which was perfect for the days I just wanted to sleep in. The Kep National Park path was just behind the accommodation so going for a run was easy. I only have one negative comment, the evening menu was quite restrictive compared to the Sailing Club next door (also owned by the hotel) so we ate there in preference, great food and the most amazing sunsets.   "We really enjoyed our time at the Jasmine. It is not a conventional motel it is an oasis in the rain forest. Be prepared for it. It is a bit out of the way but that was great for us. We were there to totally relax and that is what we did. There is no tv no Internet and limited phone reception. They ..."have flushing western toilets which is great. The food is fantastic pizza is awesome. We were in the tree house and that is what it truly was. We slept with windows and doors open and very safe. For you to prepare to stay there can I suggest bringing the following a torch, a lighter to light citronella candles. If you really object to cold showers bring a solar hot water bag. And mosquito repellant. If you ride a bike that would make you more able to get around you can get a tuk tuk or walk though. They had no diet drinks so if you need them bring them and the lovely reception people will put them in the fridge for you. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and will defiantly be back " More >
