My husband and I spent 7 days here to thoroughly explore Volcano National Park. We couldn't have choosen a better place to stay, it is 5 minutes from the g..."ates of the park. After a day of hiking we could come back to a quiet ,comfortable and private bungalow. If you didnt feel like cooking there is a great Thai restaurant in town 2 minutes away. Groceries are easily picked up in Hilo coming from the airport and there are two small convenience stores in Volcano. Katheryn will gladly help you in finding things to see an do in and near Volcano. You are only 35 minutes from Hilo to all the city conveniences if you like that. We where in Hawaii for 30 days and visited 3 of the islands and we saw many beautiful places, but without a doubt Volcano Park was our favorite place and Volcano Places out favorite place we stayed.   "My girlfriend and I stayed at Volcano Village Lodge a few weeks ago and we had a delightful stay. It was a nice place with beyond expectation romance. The room we had was a dream come true. We had a view of the rainforest out of our window that I couldnt get over. Our only issue was that parki..."ng was a little tight for our car. When you get 6 cars in the lot it is cramped. We parked on the street one day and that was no problem at all. We enjoyed the breakfast in the room, the soft robes and slippers. the comfortable bed, and the service. The place is quiet, romantic, and a perfect island retreat. The famous cat was recovering and locked in the lodge when we were there. Had a chance to meet Gino once. " More >
