First, do not expect frigs a or microwaves, remember you are in the middle of nowhere basically, so stay somewhere else if you want those ammendities. They are making improvements, but it is slow going due to the fact they are not near a major city, not easy to find workers, etc. So you basically have to roll with the punches. We have always found the desk people very accommodating. They have added the lodging insurance, $20, and you get a full refund if you cancel your reservation. we don't purchase it because we usually book a couple of days ahead of time and know what the weather is going to be like. That being said, I would definitely pay the 20 if I was traveling a long way to get there. You have to remember that the roads into the resort are frequently closed due to high winds and bad weather.
