  "We were passing through on our trip and decided to stop because of all the great reviews on here. This hotel was wonderful and for being the middle of the week there parking lot was full I wasn't sure we would be able to get a room but we did.! The room looked like it had just been recently updated ..."and very comfortable beds. The restaurant and lounge were great and gift shop was very nice also. Most of the staff was very friendly and helpful just wasn't to impressed with the late shift girl, I had to wait at the desk for a while before she came to help me and then she acted like I was interrupting her and kind of rude. So maybe just wait till day shift is there if you need any help, that is what we will do the next time we stay. We will be back and will recommend this hotel to all of our friends and family!!!   "My husband, 11 year old son and I spent a week there in June 2012 and are heading back this June. We LOVED it! We usually don't go back to the same vacation spot 2 years in a row, but we felt this was worth it. Our son is at that age where he wants some independence, but we still want to keep ..."an eye on him, so this place was perfect. He could go on as many rides per day as he wanted and we could join him or lay by the pool. We met a lot of friendly people and enjoyed having others to talk to at dinner and during activities. Our son loved the arcade games, archery, playing pool and ping pong. We all enjoyed the music, dancing, movies, hayrides and campfires (with smores!). The food was excellent and they had no problem accommodating our picky eater son. The breakfast ride is awesome! We loved our cabin. " More >

  "This is the best available motel in Mauston. Mauston is a small town with several motel options; however, this is the best available BY FAR. Facilities are definitely older, but kept very clean. Hotel has a year-round indoor pool and a year-round jacuzzi/hot tub. Hotel also has an outdoor season..."al pool. Breakfast is NOT included, but at check-in they will give you a voucher for a percentage off at the attached restaurant. Standard room amenities. Clean bathrooms. Very friendly staff.
