  "Just got back from a long weekend at the Settlement Inn. What a lovely inn! If you are looking for the cookie cutter tile and marble hotels I do not think this is the place for you but if you like a safe, comfy place then you will be very pleased. It felt more like we were going to visit our wealthy..." Aunt in Tuscany, with the warm burgundy and earth tones, the fireplaces, and the incredibly friendly staff, than staying in an inn. The massage was heavenly and then to return to the warm room with the fireplace and beautiful bed...I was so relaxed! As mentioned previously, the staff were so accomodating, the young man assisted us with dinner choices and suggestions, and the day staff were so kind lighting a fire in the main hearth for breakfast- it was just wonderful! Breakfast included a very large assortment of food items including homemade banana chocolate chip bread that was delicious.   "Had a wonderful "girls" weekend in Door County at the Hasenjager Country Home. Great location between Egg Harbor and Fish Creek. Roomy, comfortable and welcoming. Would definitely stay at this location again. Spacious yard, deck and fire pit. Would highly recommend the Hasenjager Country Home!"
