The toiletries are good but not too many freebies which is nice for the environment as it saves on those little plastic bottles.   "It was rainy when we arrived so we probably would have enjoyed the outdoors more had it not been for the weather. No fault of the hotel of course. Not much to do inside though... Service was casual and friendly. No stand outs. Spa reception not so zen and tranquil. Therapists were good but the p..."eople that have you complete the paperwork are not that welcoming. Rooms were fine. Would have been nice if the bathroom floors were heated. No black out curtain on the one window so we could not sleep in. not having black out drapes in a hotel where people pay to stay is unacceptable. Also the big value bottles should be in the shower and the small wrapped bar by the tub. Everyone uses the shower not everyone the tub. Would be much more efficient and that way - we (and everyone else who stays here) would not have had to open the bar of soap for just one night. Switch that sent up around immediately. This was obvious to us both so we are surprised the hotel had not considered... " More >

The bed was very comfortable and the room was very romantic with the fire place and giant jacuzzi in the room. Had a good selection of wine right in the room.
