I have never stayed in a hotel which offered the wonderful level of extremely friendly service and professionalism as the staff at this Holiday Inn. The staff on the front desk, whether they be Sara, J..."ackie, the smiling Alexia, Grace, Chris, Libby, or the General Manager Trish, always make you feel very special every time you enter the lobby. With all the restaurant choices in the area I always have eaten in Kems at the hotel. Great selection of well prepared food ensured by Tabitha, and if you feel like a cocktail, or beer or wine like I do sometimes, go see Keith behind the bar. Great service, and great conversation. If you stay on a Wednesday don't forget about their complementary Mgr Special where you can have a drink, enjoy something great from the kitchen, and it is all on hotel. Arrived late PM in the middle of a thunderstorm and was given a friendly greeting by the front desk staff - also appreciated the check call to see all was okay once we had settled in. Room was clean, beds too. Onl..."y downside is that there were no 2x twin queen beds + sofa bed rooms that some Hampton Inn's have at this location - so it was a squeeze for five of us (even though Miss 6 was the smallest). Fine for an overnight, but I would not put more than four people in a room for a longer stay here - not that this is any fault of the management or impact our enjoyment - just that it is what it is. Plenty of shops and eateries nearby, and close to the on ramp, so great for travellers. Recommended. " More >
