We opted for the Romance Package when we booked and were not disappointed. Champagne, chocolates and a beautifully scented candle greeted us when we arrived at the Inn and Patti arranged for our dinner at a nearby restaurant. We literally had nothing to worry about except relaxing and enjoying our day. Despite being small (only three rooms), our room was very private and it was surprisingly quiet. After a delicious homemade breakfast, my husband and I headed out feeling completely renewed. It was a perfect weekend get-a-way and we cannot wait to plan our next trip!! " More >

  "We visited Vermont for my husband's 35th birthday for the first time last week (somewhere he has always wanted to explore) and we couldn't have asked for a better place to call "home" during our time there! Also our first experience at a B&B, Patti did not disappoint - she is an incredible host and ..."full of wonderful advice on great points of interest throughout the state. The breakfasts were delicious just as all of the other reviews described - our favorite was the Baked Eggs with Artichokes... YUM! I will also never eat my Greek Yogurt without a Tbsp of Maple Syrup (from VT of course - I'll have to have some shipped when my supply runs low!)! Our room, The Fair Suite, was tastefully decorated with gorgeous flowers and oxalis triangularis (purple shamrocks). Loved the truffles and lovely soaps left for us in our room, and the kitchen always had delectable desserts and cheeses/dips/crackers as well as fruit infused ice water available.   "My husband and I stayed in Room 5 on the third floor just a few days ago. It was his birthday and I thought it might be nice to go away for a night. I was a bit nervous about staying on the third floor because I was afraid it would be up in the attic, removed from the rest of the house, hot, etc. Th..."eir website stressed several times that there were "2 flights of stairs" so I expected a big climb, but it was not a big deal whatsoever. Personally I don't even think it's worth mentioning that there are 2 flights of stairs, but I guess stairs could be an issue for some people? Anyway, the Inn itself is completely charming and beautiful. It also appears to be very, very clean. I am a clean freak and so I notice when light fixtures are dusty, etc. but everything was spic & span. Our room had a gas fireplace, and an oversized Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom.
