  "This was a great place to stay--loved the Northwoods decor & log furniture--very tastefully done!! It was very quiet & comfy, though we were there first part of Sept., so not sure how it would be in the middle of summer. We would definitely recommend staying here."

Like said in over reviews, Elaine does run a tight ship, I kind of felt like there were a lot of rules that needed to be followed, but anyone can understand as this is not a chain hotel that has numerous employees. She did offend my boyfriend with a ..."comment about smoking (which later she did appologize for). Other than that our stay was great, the rooms are just amazing, very clean and nice. I would recommend the R Hideout, just make sure you follow the rules so you are not charged extra. Also there is a cute little restaurant next door that has an amazing French dip! " More >

  "I booked two rooms at the place so we could meet a couple from out of state and show them the Flaming Gorge area and its scenery. The rooms were immaculate (like new despite being 4 years old). The owners were extremely friendly and were glad to see us. They have lots of rules which are easy to f..."ollow but apparently needed due to previous experiences the owners have had with poor guests. Examples, no smoking, no fish cleaning in the rooms, no cooking in the rooms, etc. Our stay was great and we plan on doing it again next year. " More >
