  "We found this motel on Trip Advisor. It's an old 1-story motel on the old main highway. The front desk area is anything but promising, with renovations still in progress. The Indian host was very friendly, both when I called earlier in the day to make the reservation and in person. The buildings are..." freshly painted and attractive. Our room had a king bed, small refrigerator and microwave, and was perfectly adequate. It's been recently renovated with tile floors, good bathroom fixtures, and clean. Our room is in the back of the property so I expect it to be quiet. There's a Tex-Mex restaurant that gets excellent reviews just down the highway. We expect a restful night. Not luxury by any means, but its inexpensive and, especially in oil patch country where the chain hotels are charging extremely high rates, it's perfectly adequate. " More >
