  "We stayed at KL as part of a tour of Skye and Western Isles. We thought it was delightful. We had eaten earlier at the Three Chimneys, but we preferred the food at Kinloch Lodge. The service was informal and faultless. Met with a glass of champagne on arrival, and generally well-looked-after."

We had booked an ordinary room but were upgraded to the Garden Suite on arrival. This is a separate chalet in the grounds a few yards away from the main building. Everything w..."as very nice, however the furniture was a bit of a mixture of ages and styles and gave the impression that it might be older furniture from the main hotel. We made use of the hot tub despite it not being the warmest of days! We stayed to eat at the Duisdale despite it being £45 per head. A bottle of rose wine could set you back £98!! (though you could get a bottle of red for £25) Food was good, very chefy and portions were equally small. Service was on the whole pretty good but at times a little too informal given the attempt to place the hotel at the top end of the market. Would I go back?
