  "I stayed in one of the lodges at turnberry for 2 nights on business. The lodge was well presented although perhaps less modern than the main hotel building. The individual bedrooms were all ensuite and offered great space and facilities. Extremely comfortable beds and a lovely traditional turn down ..."service each evening reminded you that you were staying in a luxury hotel. Location of the lodges are just a short walk from the main hotel and the courtesy bus service offered 24 hours a day makes sure you can access the hotel very easily. Hotel employees are all very efficient and super helpful, nothing is ever too much bother. Food is fantastic and the breakfasts are wonderful. Would be worth a trip for that alone. Views out to ailsa Craig are beautiful, setting of the hotel is excellent. Only downside is the poor mobile phone reception in that area but if your trip is for pleasure rather than business, this maybe wouldn't be a problem at all. " More >
