  "We were introduced to Beaufort Inn by a bicycle group. We had a very spacious, comfortable 2nd floor room with a semi-private porch overlooking the Inn's Wedding Garden. When we returned on our own the next week we had a similar 2nd floor room with a porch overlooking Port Republic Street. The In..."n is located in the heart of Historic Beaufort one block from the main street, Bay Street, and most of the shopping and fine eating places. A half a block behind the Bay Street stores is a lovely park along the water front. When we returned on our own, we had checked regular hotels, but all were well outside the historic area. We were impressed with the accommodations, the service and the breakfast provided at such a reasonable rate. All the staff was very willing to meet our every needs. My wife and I look forward to visiting the Beaufort Inn again in the near future. " More >

  "Our second time staying a night in this hotel as a stopover. You don't feel like you're in a chain hotel. The staff is very friendly and the atmosphere is very relaxing. They thought of everything in the room and it and the bathroom were spotless. A separate sitting area, mini fridge, microwave, etc...". We were traveling to a beach rental, so had a few groceries that needed to stay cold so the fridge was perfect. The room was quiet all night and into the next morning.
