  "We stayed two nights last week (February 2013) to visit our granddaughter at Susquehanna. We received the room we'd booked in advance on the third floor facing the back, as we'd feared possible traffic noise at the front facing the street. In retrospect, we saw that the traffic at night was light,..." so a room at the front would probably have been okay too. What can we say about our room #305 - it was very large and spotlessly clean. Besides a king size bed, there were two sofas, a kitchen area with fridge, sink and microwave, plus another area with table and four chairs for eating. I believe every room has these amenities. The breakfasts were unbelievably generous buffets of eggs, sausages, and french toast, plus the regular cereals, yogurts, fruit, bagels, toast, etc. Breakfasts changed slightly each day, depending on the cook on duty.   "We were out in the area for the State Swim meet at Bucknell and this was an easy 20-25 minute drive. We really enjoyed our stay here. It is a wonderful older house; so nice and cozy, and kept extremely clean. All that for a reasonable price! Leo and Karen make you feel extremely welcome and a..."re wonderful innkeepers. We would definately go back. The reason for giving it only 4 out of 5 for sleep quality is because we are just used to a firmer mattress. By the way, the location in town is fantastic; in the heart of the historical district, and within very close walking distances to fantastic restaurants, pub, coffee shop, and shops. " More >

  "There is not much to do in the area but if you are passing by, the accomodations are excellent. My wife and I had a huge room with a jucuzzi tub. The cleanlyness was impeccable. The bed was perfect and there was no noise during the nicht. The breakfast was a pleasant surprise. The egg dish was sort ..."of a quiche without the crust. It was delicious. They had hot oatmeal which was one of the best I have ever had. There was vanilla yogurt which looked like it had fresh fruit in it. All in all, it was a very pleasant one night stay. " More >
