It's easy for a hotel to have top notch facilities and amenities; the hardest part is finding a staff that's equally accommodating. The Hampton Inn in Lewisburg managed to do it perfectly!   "My son and I recently stayed 1 night at the Hampton Inn in Lewisburgh, PA. Our mission was to visit Bucknell University for a campus tour. This hotel was approximately 5 minutes from the campus but do not expect to walk to the campus. I really enjoyed this hotel. You will find it to be a relativ..."ely new property, and the rooms were extremely clean. I was quite surprised to see how well kept the facilities were. I did experience at check in a few problems with the room key. It just didn't work so that was a nuisance to have to go back to the lobby for a new key. The desk clerk was rather slow and I waited 15 minutes. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with eggs, waffles, fruit, cereal and bages. I was extremely surprised when the hostess came over to offer a map of the town, PLUS 2 brown bags full of snacks and bottled water for the drive home. This was a great idea!!!   "I would stay here again. Good service, clean room, nice modern hotel. The bed was very comfortable. A little distance outside of town but still convenient to downtown and the university. I didn't have time to try the breakfast or the pool."
