  "What a WONDERFUL romantic getaway"
  "Just got back from a WONDERFUL stay at Cove Haven. Stayed May 3rd-5th celebrating my birthday. Check in was fast and our room was immediately available. Kathleen was very nice, friendly and courteous when we checked in. Our room was very nice. From the outside it didn't look like it had much room b..."ut when we walked in we were amazed. We stayed in the Champagne Tower Suite. We had an indoor heart shaped pool a sauna a massage table a comfy round bed and of course the champagne hot tub. To my surprise Kathleen sent a birthday surprise to the room. It was a fruit, cheese, and cracker platter, two bottles of sparkling wine, bubble bath, glasses for the wine, a log to burn in the fire place and a photo book. Thanks again Kathleen!!! The amount of activities were endless. There is sooo much to do at this resort unfortunately we could not do all of them do to the time that we went.   "Celebrating 6th anniversary... My husband and I enjoyed ourselves ..however the price could have been lower ....the resort is outdated and needs renovations....music entertainment was good on the first night ..consisting of 3 men..they had everyone moving ....2nd night was a lady who wasn't very ent..."ertaining but could sing...her presentation was just corny....the comedian was funny .the food was good...there were decent options ....our highlights were horseback riding .....con additional cost....the liberty of playing pool 24hrs (nice)....fitness room (horrible )....small and smelly....our RM smelled musky .....found an ant and a couple of wasps.....however the bed was clean and comfy ....the sports center is not all that.....plz to eat lunch at the cage..prices are not reasonable....we went off site to eat at a pizzeria....during breakfast and dinner request to sit alone if you dont want to converse with other couples......overall it was peaceful to get away from everyday life ...and...   "As a birthday gift, my husband booked a getaway to Cove Haven 05/06-05/08. I had read the reviews and had no expections, other than to get away and spend some much needed quality time with my husband. I expected the outdated room decor, but was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness of the room in ..."general. We stayed in the Harbor Tower Suites. The balcony could use a good power washing and paint job, but the view was beautiful. ( the frogs sang LOUDLY all day and night, so we didnt keep the door open as much as we would have liked. But you cant control Mother Nature!) Dinner was ok, I find the chef a little heavy on the sauces. Breakfast was awesome!!!! I had lunch in the cafe, and to be honest had one of the best sandwiches ever! We enjoyed the activities - who knew I was so good at archery! We did archery, iceskating, golfing and enjoyed a swim in the indoor pool and a soak in the jacuzzi all before noon! We were exhausted, but reconnected which was our goal. Husbands and wives ar...
